: (1) The committee shall convene the preliminary general assembly within three months from the date of registration of the cooperative.
(2) The committee shall call the annual general meeting within six months of the end of each financial year.
(3) The committee shall convene a special general meeting in the following cases:-
(a) On the recommendation of the Audit Supervisory Committee in accordance with clause (g) of sub-section (1) of section 49,
(b)  If a resolution submitted by a director to convene a special general meeting is passed by the committee,
(c) If the committee decides to convene a special general meeting for a specific business,
(d) If fifteen percent of the members make an application before the committee regarding the need to call a special general meeting,
(e) If instructed by the Registrar or an officer authorized by the Registrar in accordance with sub-section (1) of section 40,
(f) If ordered by the Registrar or an officer authorized by the Registrar under sub-section (2) of section 42.
